Reviews

"The MPC Touch Bible is awesome! I've learned a great deal of what the MPC Touch can do from your book. I'm a hands-on learner, so your tutorials were perfect for me. Honestly, I can't think of anything you would need to improve on (PROPS!). I would definitely recommend the book to other MPC Touch users.  Keep up the good work. "

"I have used the mpc touch for few month and I think your book is very useful because the akai manual is too technical. I learn a lot about the browser and shortcuts, it makes my work much more fluid."

"I'm new to this world of MPC, DAW's etc. but I must say your book has been a real eye opener on what can actually be achieved on your MPC accompanied with the book.I also found the sound processing extremely in depth and rewarding - the sample edit was an absolute joy (I can remember sampling from a digitizer onto an Amiga a few years back!!) and to say it's easy is an understatement.I found all the tutorials so far; very simple and instructive with practical application a joy. I would happily recommend this book to beginners and experienced  users alike as im sure there is something in this book everybody can pick up on. I'm lucky to have it printed and bound for me as a favour, so I can refer to it on occasions when I'm not on top of a pc.Keep up with your fantastic works!!"

"I'm new to MPC Touch and MPC. Without this book I would not have been as knowledgeable of everything MPC Touch. The examples are excellent and really applies to all skill levels. Thank you for putting this together. Please contact me with other resources that you produce!"

Product FAQs

Is the MPC Touch Bible regularly updated?

Yes, I frequently update my books to take into account new OS updates to the MPC Software - you'll receive an email alert whenever a new update is available to download.

Which version of the MPC Software is the MPC Touch Bible compatible with?

The book requires MPC Software version 1.9.5 or greater - you can update the MPC Software to the latest version via the 'Check For Updates' link in the MPC app.

Do the tutorials cover the Touchscreen interface (Touch UI)?

Yes, extensively. The book was written primarily around the idea of using the MPC Touch as a 'virtual' standalone MPC, focussing mainly on performing all tasks directly from the MPC Touch itself.

How do I use this book?

Download the zip file from the link we provide and extract all the files to a folder on your computer. Inside this folder you'll see the book itself in three formats; PDF, EPUB and MOBI.

To read the book on a computer/laptop, double click the PDF file and it will open in your computer's default PDF reader (e.g. Adobe Reader, Mac Preview etc). To read on a smartphone, tablet or dedicated ebook reader, use your usual syncing method (e.g. via iTunes for iPhones and iPads, via USB for Kobo/Nook etc).

The best format for most mobile devices is the EPUB format, although for Kindle you should use the MOBI. Otherwise all devices will also read the PDF version.

As you progress through the book, you'll be prompted to load up MPC project files so you can recreate the tutorials in your MPC - these are contained within the zip file you downloaded.

Can I make backup copies of my ebook?

Yes, once downloaded it's just like any other computer file and can be copied to a back up disk.
